I ate strawberries for breakfast!  One yesterday (caution is good) and 4 today.  First time in 20 years! Yippee!

Its been a strange week

I skipped a whole week, no heavy metal detox, no laser allergy treatments.  I have been battling a bladder infection and am not tolerating much while on antibiotics.  I'm on a second set of antibiotics now, the first didn't help (darn it).  I had to stop all of my supplements because they made me feel weird.  I have been taking DSF for 4 years now and I had my first negative side effect last tuesday - very odd.  Apparently my body doesn't like being on antibiotics.    I plan to get back in the groove later this week.
The patients we have been seeing at the clinic have been giving lots of great feedback.  For laser allergy relief I have had reports of increased food tolerances, improved breathing and some have reported working through some emotional issues.  As far as heavy metals goes, most people have dirtier than usual foot detoxes - which makes sense since the metals are being released.  These patients are sometime fatigued on the day of the detox, but report feeling better the next day.

Unfair

I woke up on Wed. feeling hungover...which totally sucks because I only drank water on Tuesday.  I was better after some water and breakfast.  I went to the gym for the first time in months, didn't suck too bad.
James and I stopped in at work for footbaths (and a hand bath lol).  My water was really gross - thick and cloudy and dark.  Much worse than James'.  Definitely something to this heavy metal detox, I have seen the same pattern in all of the patients doing heavy metals.  Felt queasy for a while yesterday, I think my body wants to rebel against being truly clean and well!

treatments nov 7&8

Apparently,  I am supposed to treat myself these days.  Yesterday, bossman directed me to self-test and do my own heavy metal treatment.  Chlorine and Bromine both came up again - that's 3 for 3!  Chlorine makes sense - lots of drinking tap water (I guess I need to invest in a filter).  Bromine - not so sure, no hot tubs, don't know where else to check.  I started on Iodine rescue to support the thyroid, liver detox (which I had been avoiding) and total female (yay hormones).  I am still taking fish oil, chelate, probiotics, a multi and my usual meds.
Today, I walked Lila through my LZR allergy treatment #2.  No noticable changes yet......

This is new to me....

I decided the other day that I should track my experiences with the heavy metal detox and laser allergy treatments that I am undergoing - but I realized that  I started this journey a long time ago.



So, first the background:
10 years ago, I had group A strep toxic shock syndrome. The strep was in my bloodstream and shut down many of my organs and my blood pressure dropped so low that both my legs had to be amputated.  I've come a long way since then.  I considered myself perfectly healthy for many years, then I started my job at the clinic.
I started at Cold Lake Chiropractic in August 2007.  Since then, I have traveled much further along on this journey.  The clinic and the people within it have opened my mind and taught me so much and I am grateful.  My quality of life has improved over 4 1/2 years - mentally and physically.


On to today:
I started my heavy metal detox 3 weeks ago.  I have had 2 sessions.
What am I doing?  Homeopathic drops of heavy metals, fish oil and a chelate supplement.  Chlorine and Bromine have both come up each time, so I should probably get a water filter or something.  We do brain laser after each homeopathic to stimulate the release of the metal from the tissues - I love it.  Both times, I felt weird for about 24 hours - brain foggy, and like I had a air bubble in my abdomen.  I had an ionic foot bath after the first time (using my hands) and it was vile.  It never looked like that before, black and smelly - yuk.  My pee smelled different too.  No other side effects so far.

I have had one laser allergy treatment, no noticeable change yet, I might sample some of the foods I usually react to after a few more treatments.
